Naruto's universe. It was founded by Fallen Lee, "Madara" (Tobi), and Sasuke Uchiha prior to what would've originally been the Fourth Great Shinobi War.
History
The New Akatsuki was founded when Fallen Lee traveled to that past. Having lived in a timeline in which the Fourth Shinobi War had taken place, Fallen Lee sought to prevent it as one of the many time-altering events he set off. He traveled to the time period that Sasuke Uchiha had joined the Akatsuki. Noticing that many of the original Akatsuki's ranks had fallen, Lee convinced "Madara" to let him join in order to build his own Akatsuki. Once he gained the man's trust, Lee set off with Sasuke and "Madara" to recruit many warriors to their cause, ranging from other shinobi and more.
